Letter from the Recruitment Chair

Hi Everyone!

My name is Rachel and I am honored to be the Director of Chapter Growth for the Delta Chi chapter of Tri Sigma! Having experienced the recruitment process in this position and also as a potential new member, I can say with confidence that recruitment can be an amazing opportunity to find a new home at UVA! 

Joining Tri Sigma has been one of the best decisions I have made throughout my time in college. I have met so many incredible women through Sigma such as those that dedicate themselves to our philanthropy, raising funds for March of Dimes, those who work endlessly to make sure our recruitment process goes smoothly, those who plan our amazing sisterhood events-such as camping retreats, hiking, yoga, exercise classes, and even simple things to brighten our weeks like tabs at grit coffee or donut days, and, of course, those sisters who make sure their sisters always have someone to sit with in class or in the dining hall. The women in this chapter truly encourage each other to be the best version of themselves in both personal and academic life. 

Recruitment can certainly be daunting at times, but in the end, you will have found a new home at UVA. I encourage all of you to trust and enjoy the process! We are so excited to meet you all and share our sisterhood with you!
